Who we are
Mind and U was established in Warrnambool to meet a gap in access to high-quality Positive Behaviour Support in regional communities.
Many NDIS participants across South West Victoria have historically relied on metropolitan providers, often incurring additional travel costs and experiencing delays in support. Mind and U was created to offer a local, responsive PBS service — grounded in evidence-based practice and delivered by a local practitioner who understands the realities of regional life.
Our Purpose
Mind and U provides NDIS-aligned Positive Behaviour Support to adult participants in Warrnambool and surrounding regions, with a focus on quality, accessibility, and ethical practice.
The service was established to address gaps in regional access to behaviour support, in Warrnambool and surrounds, and to reduce reliance on metropolitan providers, supporting more responsive and sustainable care.
Mind and U recognises the importance of choice and works to ensure participants can access high-quality behaviour support close to home.
About the Practitioner
Mind and U is led by Lottie Anderson, a Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in mental health and experience delivering NDIS-aligned Positive Behaviour Support to adults and young adults with complex support needs.
Lottie brings experience from mental health and specialist family violence settings, where trauma-informed, safety-focused practice is essential. This background informs a PBS approach that prioritises understanding behaviour in context, reducing restrictive practices, and supporting dignity, choice, and meaningful quality of life.
Lottie is committed to respectful, ethical practice and values thoughtful, collaborative work with participants and their support networks.
